Remember, if you can, a time before cell phones and the internet...a time when "Madmen" roamed the earth and expected their telephone answering girls to make sure they didn't miss any important messages. Meet Ella and the whole crew from Susanswerphone along with their, shall we say,, a better word might be zany, clientele, and you have BCCM's 2015 concert musical--the delightful BELLS ARE RINGING!

Written by the legendary team of Betty Comden and Adoph Green, with music by Jule Styne at his best, Bells Are Ringing opened on Broadway on November 29, 1956, and ran for just shy of a thousand performances, much to the delight of everyone who loves great musical comedy. (It was nominated for four Tony Awards and won two.)

BELLS ARE RINGING was a hilarious slice of the mid-Twentieth Century world lost to voice mail and texting.

On February 20-22, 2016, BCCM presented HEART AND SOUL: THE SONGS OF HOAGY CARMICHAEL. Carmichael's winning personality made him popular on the screen and later on television, but it was music that was at his core. His legacy includes such timeless hits as "Stardust", "Georgia On My Mind", "The Nearness of You", "I Get Along Without You Very Well", "Skylark", and "Heart and Soul."
